Wedding Updates! – Hotel, Menu, and RSVP Deadline

Family and Friends:

We’ve gotten the rest of the information back from the hotel and it looks like we don’t qualify for the group rate on the rooms.  That means that everyone can go ahead and book their hotel accommodations for the wedding wherever they prefer.  If you’re still planning on staying at Hyatt the Pike with us for convenience, we’ll try to get all the rooms on the same floor, if possible.  We’ve updated the RSVP form to remove the group rate questions, so just make sure you double-check everything and that your info is accurate.

Next, we got the dinner choices back from the restaurant so we know exactly what we’ll be having.  Here are your choices:

  1. Petit Filet – 7 oz. Mesquite grilled medium, roasted fingerling potatoes, and seasonal vegetables
  2. Chicken FlorentineAirline chicken breast stuffed with spinach, pine nuts, swiss cheese, and garlic.  Served with mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, and red wine mushroom jus
  3. Macadamia Nut Crusted Mahi Mahi – Coconut lemongrass rice, pineapple salsa, baby bok choy, and miso butter sauce

We will have a kids’ menu also and the kiddos can order when they arrive at the restaurant.  Please update your RSVP with your entree choice so that we can have an accurate count prior to the date.

Lastly, we added a deadline to the RSVP form.  The deadline to RSVP for you and your +1 is July 1st, 2015.  Don’t be late!  We don’t want to chase you down.

Save the Date

The wedding will be on August 13th, 2015 in Long Beach, CA.  You should probably not make plans for that day.  It’s a Thursday, in case you were wondering.
